I have literally just come home from our football celebration night. It is a night to celebrate the freshmen who are now becoming sophomores, the juniors taking the role as leading class, and saying farewell to the beloved seniors. It started out giving freshmen their certificates and then the juniors. Finally the seniors got theirs. All of the senior captains gave speeches on what it means to be a team and recalling some of the great moments we cherished together. Each graduating senior also had their baby photo displayed along with their senior year football photo to show where these men came from. At the end of the video our coach gave a very personal speech about how life is short and we need to remember what is good and understand that the family we have made on our fields; through blood sweat and tears will be engraved in our hearts and minds forever. Twenty or thirty years on in our life we will recall these great days in our childhood and remember those who stayed with us in times of tormenting losses and the times of great victories. Many of my fellow classmates will become just another face in the crowd to me but my teammates, my brother will never be far from my mind.
